Guaranteed Safety Against The Risk of Explosion
Nitrogen breaks the “fire triangle”. When storing combustible materials, the risk of explosion appears as soon as the three elements are met: fuel, oxidiser (oxygen in the air) and a source of ignition. Avoid risk of explosion by removing Oxygen content in the protective atmosphere.

Examples of inerting gases
Inerting gases are intended for all stages of the production and transport of flammable or oxygen-sensitive products. Chemicals, fuels, cosmetic ingredients, food, medicines...: inerting takes place from the storage of raw materials to the packaging of the final product.
Most often, inerting with nitrogen (N₂) proves to be the best choice among neutral gases to reduce the oxygen concentration or replace the air in contact with your products.

Blanketing
Blanketing, also known as inerting, is the process of injecting an inert gas during steps in the storage, transport or production of products and at specific stages in the industrial process to eliminate oxygen or moisture present in atmospheric air. Because an inert gas does not interact directly with other compounds or materials, products are preserved and converted from a flammable or reactive condition into a safe, non-flammable and non-reactive state. Typical blanketing gases include nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide. Blanketing is critical to a wide range of industries such as refining, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics, agriculture storage, as well as food and beverage.
Purging
Gas Purging is the process of removing the undesired medium from the system chamber, line, vessel or other area by replacing with an inert gas to create a safe condition and environment for processes that are sensitive to oxygen, moisture or other impurities medium, such as certain chemical reactions or the storage of reactive materials. Purging is often in used for during the startup or shutdown of processes to ensure that the system is safe for operation. Nitrogen is often the preferred gas for processes such as inerting, purging, and blanketing due to its cost efficiency, straightforward production, and overall safety profile.
